Change Your OC Password Online

Students can change their OC password online using their email, MyOC, Blackboard, or any other OC hosted web service. Changing your password in one of these places should change it in all of these places.

If you are a faculty or staff member trying to update your password for your computer login, please see some of our other instructions below:

Go to the Password Change Page

  1. Enter your OC username
  2. Enter your current OC password
  3. Enter your new password
  4. Re-enter your new password
  5. Click Submit

Please note the OC Password Requirements

If you have forgotten your password, please visit our answer for a Forgotten Password.

Success!

Thanks for the reminder that I can't make any changes to log-in from off campus.

Passwords can not be used a second time after 2 years. It's most secure to use a completely different password from what you have use in the past.

Could you add instructions for Mac users regarding changing the password in the Keychain? After changing my network password, the Keychain constantly prompts me to enter a password for everything.

It actually wasn't that bad! I'm so glad that OC cares more about my password security than anyone else! I should probably update all of my 5+ year old passwords... I've had the same facebook password since 2007! I better change it before somebody finally figures out my oldest secret  string of  lowercase letters!!! YIKES!

I'm having trouble logging onto the windows side of my computer. I am able to access the Mac side perfectly fine, but my password won't work on the Windows side. I tried older passwords as well, but had no luck. I need to use the Windows side for a certain project. Any ideas/suggestions? I am in Texas so I am unable to stop by campus anytime soon.
