Change Order of Preferred Networks - Mac OS

If you are having trouble connecting to a network, it may help to change the order of your preferred networks.

Open Network Preferences

Navigate to the Network drop-down menu and click "Open Network Preferences"

Be sure that Wifi is selected on the right-hand side and then click "Advanced".

Choose the Network that you want to be preferred and drag it to the top of the list. Click "OK".

Note: We recommend the following order for the campus wireless networks:

  1. Eaglesnet
  2. EaglesnetEa or EaglesnetWa
  3. EaglesnetE or EaglesnetW

Click "Apply". Then quit System Preferences by pressing Command + Q.
