Adobe InDesign CS6 - Windows Install

Follow the steps below to install Adobe InDesign for the Windows side.

This program is only available for certain users due to licensing agreements. If you do not have access and believe you should have access to this program, please contact Support Central.

Connect to the Server

Connect to \\software.oc.edu\dist\Adobe\InDesign\CS6\Windows\
  1. Click the Start button
  2. Type \\software.oc.edu\dist\Adobe\InDesign\CS6\Windows\ in the search bar

Hit Enter

Open InDesign

Double Click on InDesign_8_LS16

Double click InDesign_8_LS16

Choose Install Location

Choose Location for it to be stored.

Click Next

Allow Installer to load

It will take a few moments for the Installer to load

This may take several minutes.

Finish Set Up

Select "Finish"

Click Finish

Allow Installer to Initialize

The Adobe Installer will load.

This may take several minutes.

Install Adobe InDesign

Select "Install with a serial number"

Click Install - I have a serial number

Connect to Server again

Connect to \\software\dist\adobe\InDesign\CS6\ again
  1. Click the Start button
  2. Type \\software\dist\adobe\InDesign\CS6\Windows\License in the search bar and hit Enter
  3. Double click to open the License text file and copy the Serial Number

Accept the License Agreement

Accept the License Agreement

Click Accept

Copy/Paste Serial Number

Copy in the serial number
  1. Paste serial number
  2. Click Next

Sign in to Adobe

Sign in with your Adobe account, or you can create a new account

Click Sign in Now

Install InDesign CS6

Select "Install"

Click Install

Allow Changes to be Made

Select "Yes" - to allow changes to be made for this program

Click Yes

Allow Installation

Adobe will take a few minutes to install

This may take several minutes.

Installation Complete

Installation Complete

Click Launch Now

Success!
