You will need a new ID card to be able to use our new printing system.
- Proximity ID cards (known as "ProxCards") include a microchip that the printers will read in order to release your documents from the print queue. The proximity readers that you will see on printers around campus need to be within a few inches of your card to read the microchip.
- As a reminder, you cannot punch a hole in your new ID card because of this microchip. If you would like to have a hole in your ID, please bring it to Support Central to ensure that the microchip is not damaged.
