From the dock, click the Gear Icon.

Or open the Apple Menu from the Menu Bar and select "System Preferences."\L

Select "Displays" under the "Hardware" Section

Detect Displays

If the Projector or External Display is not detected click the "Detect Displays" button.

Set up External Display

  1. Select the "Arrangement" Button
  2. \L \ In the Extended Displays mode (when Mirror Displays is Unchecked) you can change the Primary display by dragging the white menu bar from one display to the other
  3. \L Check the "Mirror Displays" box if you want the same thing to show up on each display

    i have hooked three computers up to the projector in scott chapel. it still doesn't detect a signal. this happens every time. I am a loser.
