The latest update for Google Chrome does not allow sound to be played from the browser. Follow the steps below to correct this issue.
Open the Control Panel
- Select the Start Menu
- Select Control Panel
Hardware and Sound
- Select Hardware and Sound
Sound
- Select Sound
Configure Speakers
- Select Configure (Make sure that Speakers is selected in order to be able to select Configure)
Choose Configuration
- Select Stereo for the Audio channel
- Select Next
- Select Next again.
Finish
- Click Finish
Success!
You have successfully configured your audio settings.
