If the reader light flashes amber after swiping your card, the door requires you to enter your PIN.

To find your 4-digit pin number, please see these instructions.

Reader Light Flashes Red after PIN

If the reader light flashes red after you have swiped your card and entered your PIN number, you do not have access to the building or room, or there is an issue with the door.

Please contact Support Central at (405) 425-5555

Reader Light Flashes Yellow and then Green

If after swiping your card or entering your PIN, the reader light flashes yellow and then turns green and grants you access to the building or room, the batteries are getting low on the reader.

Please contact Support Central at (405) 425-5555

Reader Light Turns Solid Green (For Some Doors)

For some campus doors (mainly office doors) the reader light will turn solid green after you have swiped your card.  This means the door is already unlocked. Swiping your card while the light is still green will lock the door.

If the door is locked, swiping your card twice in the lock will unlock the door.
