Follow the instructions below to install Adobe Lightroom 6 for Mac
This program is only available for certain users due to licensing agreements. If you do not have access and believe you should have access to this program, please contact Support Central.
Connect to the server
- Connect to server: smb://software.oc.edu/dist/Adobe/Lightroom/6/Mac
- Click Connect

Locate the Lightroom Installer
Double-click Lightroom_6_LS11.dmg
Open the Installer
Double-click Install
Wait for the Adobe Installer to Initialize
This may take several minutes.
Start the Install Process
Click Install
Sign In to Adobe
Select Sign In
Enter Credentials
- Enter your Adobe ID and password
- Click Sign In
- If you do not have an Adobe ID, you may create one by clicking "Get an Adobe ID"
- Your Adobe ID most likely will NOT be your OC credentials.
Accept the License Agreement
Click Accept
Go back to the Server
Double-click License.txt
Copy the License Key
- Click and drag to highlight the license key.
- Right click on the license key and click Copy
Enter the License Key
- Right click in the serial number box and click Paste
- Click Next
Install Lightroom
Click Install
Wait for Installation to finish
This may take several minutes.
Installation Complete
Click Launch Now
