Set Up LaserFiche Search Preferences

After installing LaserFiche you will need to set up the search feature to make it easier to use.

Choose Search Options

Choose Search Options
  1. Press the magnifying glass to open the search pane.
  2. Click on "Customize Search"
  3. Uncheck any fields that are selected.
  4. Select Field.

Choose Template

Choose Template
  1. Make sure "Search by Template" is selected.
  2. Choose the template you would like to search.  Most student information is stored in "Student Financial Services."

You are now ready to search.

Save Search Settings

Once you've set up your search you can save the settings.

  1. Press Save
  2. Enter a name for your search
  3. Press OK

Load a Saved Search

Load a Saved Search

If you accidentally reset your search settings you can load your saved search.

  1. Press "Load" in the search bar
  2. Select the search you created
  3. Press OK.
