Blackboard Quiz Generator allows you to type questions offline in a program like Word or Notepad and quickly convert to a Blackboard Pool. It functions similar to the Respondus application (Windows only), but does not require any software download and is accessible on Mac or Windows. It was developed by programmers at the College of Southern Idaho and is available for public use.
Simply type or paste your quiz in the textarea and click the Create Quiz button. This will produce a zip file that you can import into the Pool Manager in Blackboard.
For example, a Multiple Choice question could be added using the following format:
- Question on a single line.
- Answers immediately following the question.
- Asterisk (*) in front of the correct choice.
For more information, please see the documentation for other question/answer types.
Supported types include:
- Multiple Choice
- Multiple Answer
- Fill in the blank
