- Navigate to your Google Drive (http://drive.google.com).
- Click the “New” button (top left).
- Go down to “More”.
- Then click “Connect More Apps”
- In the search box put “audio cloud recorder” and search.
- Next to Cloud Audio Recorder click “Connect” and then “Okay”. Now close the window.
- Now click “New” again then go down to “More” and now you'll see cloud audio recorder in your list.
- You will want to click “Okay” on create in a shared folder.
- As soon as it's loaded you'll see the “Start” button. You'll start by clicking that, it may take some time.
- Once you've made your recording click “Stop”.
- Then download as MP3 and save to your Google Drive. (You may have to login and authorize this.)
- Click “Save to Google Drive” and be sure to put in a meaningful filename and click “Save”.
- Now go to your Google Drive you should be able to see the audio file in “MyDrive” or whatever folder you saved it to. (if you click last modified it will reorder your files so that the last modified one will be first and that is our recording that we just made.
- If you want to embed your audio in your blackboard course..to get the embed code double-click on your audio. It should start to play.
- You can listen to your whole audio or press pause.
- Now click the pop-out box (it's a little box with an arrow in the upper right corner).
- Then click the series of three dots in the upper center.
- Click “Embed Item”.
- Copy the embed code and follow the procedures for creating an item in blackboard in the recipes.
