Campus Parking Guide: Where to Park
Welcome to the Campus Parking Guide. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, parking lots are color-coded by permit type. Please refer to the official campus parking map below to locate the specific lots mentioned below.
Parking Locations by Group
Guests & Visitors
If you are visiting our campus, you have a few options depending on where you need to go:
- Guest Only Lots (Red Outline): Dedicated exclusively for visitors. The primary guest-only lot is located right off L R Wilson Way.
- Employee/Guest Lots (Maroon): Guests are also permitted to park in any maroon-colored lot scattered throughout the main campus loop.
- Student General/Guest Lots (Yellow): Visitors may also utilize the general yellow lots.
Employees (Faculty & Staff)
- Employee/Guest Lots (Maroon): Staff members should primarily utilize the maroon lots. Major employee parking areas can be found inside the Baird Loop, near O'Neal Ave, along Benson Rd, and adjacent to Johnson Ln.
Commuter Students
- Student Commuter Lots (Dark Green): If you commute to campus, look for the dark green designated lots. These are centrally located directly off O'Neal Ave and near L R Wilson Way.
Resident Students
- Student Resident Lots (Peach/Coral): Students living on campus must park in the peach-colored resident lots. Large residential parking zones are located on the west side of Baird Loop, along Branch Rd, and in the housing complex area on the eastern side of campus near Memorial Rd.
General Students
- Student General/Guest Lots (Yellow): Open to general student parking. Large yellow lots are located on the northern perimeter (near the athletic fields), along Johnson Ln, and on the eastern edge along Benson Rd.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking spaces are marked clearly with the blue wheelchair icon. These spaces are distributed across almost every lot on campus, including locations along Baird Loop, O'Neal Ave, Branch Rd, and Johnson Ln, ensuring close proximity to all major buildings.
Tip: Always ensure your parking permit is properly displayed before leaving your vehicle.
