How to View All Courses Past and Present in Canvas

This article explains how to view courses from past terms that no longer appear on your Dashboard. By default, Canvas only displays your current, published courses on the Dashboard. Or, if you have favorited a certain amount of courses, the favorites will appear on your dashboard. 

Step 1: Go to your Dashboard.

When you log in to "Canvas", your Dashboard only displays courses from the current term. Courses from past terms and unpublished courses won't appear here.

Step 2: Click Courses in the Navigation menu.

Click "Courses" in the left-hand navigation menu. A panel will open listing your current published courses, along with an "All Courses" button at the top.

Step 3: Click "All Courses."

Click the "All Courses link" at the top of the panel. This opens the All Courses page, which lists your current courses at the top and a Past Enrollments section below showing every course you were previously enrolled in, along with their respective terms.
