This answer shows you how to view an inbox that has been shared with you as a delegate. For these instructions, please log in to your Gmail account.
Settings
- Click the Settings icon in the top right corner of your screen.
- Click Settings.
Add Shared Account
- Click on the Accounts and Import tab
- Click Add a mail account
Enter Email
- Enter the email address of the inbox you would like to access.
- Click Next
Enter Email Settings
- Enter the email username you would like to access. (Typically the email address itself)
- Enter the email account password of the inbox you would like to access
- These settings should be configured correctly automatically
- Make sure the 'Always use secure connection' box is checked. The other options can be changed based on your own preference.
- Click Add Account
