Install Internet Explorer Google Toolbar

This installation requires a system restart. Please save and close all of your open programs and projects now.

Install the Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer

Navigate to the Google Toolbar Website to download the Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer.

Download Google Toolbar

Click the blue "Download Google Toolbar" button

Click the blue Download Google Toolbar in the top right corner of your screen.

Configure Search Settings

Make sure the second check box is checked.  Then click the blue "Accept and Install" button.
  1. Check Set my home page to Google
  2. Click the Accept and Install button

Setting Google as your default search engine is optional and will not effect your download.

Run the Application

A window will appear. Click the "Run" button.

Click Run

Allow Changes

Be sure to allow the toolbar to make changes to the computer. This will not be a malicious download.

Click Yes

Preferences

Set your preferences in the next pop-up window.
  1. Click Change to Google
  2. Click Prevent programs...
  3. Click OK

These are the recommended settings.

Restart Computer

Choose when you would like to restart you computer.

Close out and save all of your other windows. Then click Restart Now
