Create a Brainwave Poll

1. Open a browser.
2. Go to https://niapps.oc.edu/brainwave
3. Click new question (+ button).
4. Type your question in the blank provided.
5. Once your question is complete either click outside the text box or hit TAB.
6. Now either add more to your question or add response options.
7. Click Preview to preview your poll. To go back click the Edit button at the top (2nd from the left).
8. Make your poll available by turning it on.
9. Optional password protect.
10. Optional date availability.
11. Optional results display as a Bar or Pie Chart.
12. Now you need to deploy the poll by previewing the poll once again.
13. Get the embed code, link or QR code depending on how you want students to access the poll.
14. If using the embed code option you would want to copy the code and paste it into the HTML area of creating an item in a Blackboard Course Content area under build content.
