- Because Office 2019 is such a large program, it is recommended that you connect to the network using a wired Ethernet connection and disable your wireless connection before beginning this process in order to reduce the installation time.
- If you are off campus, you must connect to VPN to access the server and install this program or install Office from Microsoft Office Installation - Microsoft Office 365
Connect to the Server

Connect to OC's software server to download the software package.
- From Finder, press Command-K on your keyboard to open the Connect to Server dialogue box. (You can use either command button)
- In the server address bar type:smb://software.oc.edu/dist/microsoft/office/2019mac
- Click Connect
Authenticate

- Make sure the Registered User circle is checked.
- Enter your OC Username
- Enter your OC password
- Click Connect
Double-Click the Microsoft_Office_Installer.pkg
Introduction

Click Continue
Agree to the Terms & Conditions

- Click Continue
- In the resulting window, click Agree
Installation

Click Install
Enter the computer administrative information

- Enter the username for your computer
- Enter the password for your computer
- Click Install Software
Wait for the installation to finish
This process could take several minutes.
Close the Installer

Click Close
Run Serializer
- Double-click on the serializer (Microsoft_Office_Serializer.pkg)
Serializer

Click Continue
Install

Click Install
Authenticate

- Enter your computer username
- Enter your computer password
- Click Install Software
Serialization Successful

Once the program is installed successfully, click Close
Success!
You have successfully installed Microsoft Office 2019 on Mac.
