Respondus - Retrieving Files from a Blackboard Course

Click the Retrieval + Reports tab.

Click Retrieve Questions

1. Under Blackboard Server, select OC Bb [PSS].
2. If you do not see OC Bb [PSS] as an option, select add new server

1. Select Yes, check for preconfigured server settings
2. Click Next

1. For the name of the server, enter OC Bb
2. Click Next

1. When the "Log into Blackboard" message pops up, click OK.
2. When the "Authentication Module Download" message pops up, click OK.

1. Enter your username and password
2. Click Log In
3. In the top right corner of the Blackboard window, click Close After Login

1. Click Next for the Server Connection Test
2. Click Finish

Click Next to connect to server. If you are asked to log in to Blackboard again, please do so.

1. Choose the Course to Retrieve from.
2. In the Select an Exam or Pool field, select an Exam you would like to retrieve.
3. Enter a name for the new Respondus file
4. Click Next
5. Click Finish. The exam will now be set as the active file in Respondus. You can edit, preview, or publish the exam immediately using tools in Respondus.

1. Click on the Start tab in Respondus
2. Click Open
3. In the new window that opens, click Browse. A Windows Explorer window will appear displaying your Respondus Projects and the path to its location on the hard drive
