This article will go through the different ways to join a meeting as well as how to share your screen to the TV located in the Zoom Room.
Joining A Meeting The Room WAS Invited To
- Find your meeting in the Meetings List on the Tablet
- Tap the Join Button under your meeting you want to join.
- You will then enter the meeting automatically.
Joining A Meeting The Room WAS NOT Invited To
- If you want to join a Zoom Meeting, tap on the “Join” button. If it is a Non-Zoom Meeting, click on the App that corresponds with the meeting type you are trying to attend.
- You will then be prompted to enter a Meeting ID. This should be provided to you by the organizer’s invite.
- You will then be prompted to enter the Passcode. Enter the passcode given to you by the Organizer's invite and tap OK.
- After entering the Meeting ID, you can tap Join.
- You will then enter the meeting as the Zoom Room
Screen Sharing in Zoom Room Using The Room Controller
This is a great way to share your screen without having to start or join a meeting.
- Click the Share button on the Tablet located in the Room
- Follow the On-screen prompt.
- If you are a windows user, follow the steps displayed under the Desktop Tab.
- If you are a Macbook/Apple user, follow the steps under the iPhone/iPad tab.
- After completing the steps that display, it will then connect your laptop to the TV.
Sharing Screen in Zoom Room Using The Zoom Workplace App
This is a way to share your screen if the tablet in the room is missing or not working.
- Open the Zoom Workplace App
- Once the app opens, click on the room button. It will be located in the top right corner near your profile picture.
- You will then be asked to enter a room code. This code is referencing the sharing key which is located in the top right of the TV's display.
- After enter the Sharing Key, you can then click OK and it will then share your screen to the Zoom Room's TV.
