The Zoom Rooms Controller App is a virtual option that Zoom Users can utilize in case the tablet in the room is not working or is not found in the room.
The requirements to use this app are as follows:
- You need to be connected to OCNet
- You need to have teh Zoom Workplace App installed on your Lapto
Opening the Zoom Rooms Controller App
- Open the Zoom Workplace app (Either mobile or on your computer)
- Click on the Apps Tab
- Under “My apps” find the Zoom Room Controller app
- Tap or click the app and it will then open the Zoom Room Controller
How To Connect Room Controller To A Zoom Room:
- Open the Zoom workplace App
- Click on the Apps tab
- Locate and click the Zoom Rooms Controller app under "My apps"
- Click on the "Control Nearby Room"
- Enter the room code for the room you are trying to connect to. This will be located in the top right of the TV located in the Room. (It is also known as a Sharing Key)
- You can then click ok and it will connect you to that room.
If it is unable to connect try the following steps:
- Verify you are on the OCNet WiFi
- Try restarting the Zoom workplace app
- Try restarting your computer to remove any background items that may be interfering with the connection.
