These instructions will show you how to connect your Apple Device to a VPN connection, and then access that connection so you can access information from the OC network.
To Set Up VPN:
Settings
Go to Settings
General Tab
Select General
VPN Tab
Select VPN
Add VPN Connection
Select Add VPN Configuration
Configure Connection
- Select L2TP
- Enter a Description (VPN to OC)
- Enter vpn.oc.edu for the Server
- Enter your username (firstname.lastname) for the Account
- Type in Eagles for Secret
- Tap Done
To Connect to VPN on your iDevice:
Open Settings
- Go to Settings > General > VPN like in the previous steps
- Tap the switch next to Status to turn on VPN connection
Authenticate VPN Connection
- Enter your OC username and password when prompted
- Click OK
