Before creating a shortcut on your desktop, you must have previously mapped the network drive. Please see our instructions for mapping a network drive on windows 10 if you have not done so already.
Right-Click Mapped Drive
- Right-click on your mapped network Drive (for this example, we have mapped the Software folder)
- Click Create shortcut
Create Shortcut on Desktop
Click Yes
Success!
Your shortcut is now created on the desktop. Double-clicking this icon will open your network drive.
