EndNote is a program that helps you organize your citations and end notes.
This program is only available for certain users due to licensing agreements. If you do not have access and believe you should have access to this program, please contact Support Central.
Connect to the server
- Connect to the Server: smb://software.oc.edu/dist/ThomsonReuters/EndNote
- Click Connect
- If you do not know how to connect to the server, please see our instructions on how to Connect to a server in Mac OS
Locate EndNote Installer on Server
- Click EndNote
- Click Mac
- Double-Click EndNote X6 Site Installer.dmg
Install EndNote
- Drag the EndNote X6 folder to the Applications folder to the right.
It may take several minutes for the folder to copy over.
Locate EndNote in Applications
- Find EndNote listed under your Applications
If you cannot find the program listed under your Applications, you may need to restart your computer for the installation to complete.
Start the Install/Set-Up Process
- The first time you open it, you will have to go through the Install/Set Up process.
Install Introduction
- Click Next
Product Information
- Click Next
Finalization
- Click Done
Success!
- You have successfuly installed EndNote on Mac. You will find your new program in the Applications Folder on your computer.
