Follow the instructions below to save documents from Outlook to Laserfiche.
This program is only available for certain users due to licensing agreements. If you do not have access and believe you should have access to this program, please contact Support Central.
Open Laserfiche
Go to Options

- Click Tools to open drop-down menu.
- Select Options...
Select "Template"

- Click on the drop-down menu next to Template
- Select which type of document you would like to file.
Default Settings

- Check box next to Make the selected template the default for imported emails
- Click Ok
Open Outlook
- If you are importing the email itself, choose the Save to Laserfiche option
- If you want to import any attachments select Save Attachments to Laserfiche
Saving Attachments
Choose Attachments

- Highlight Attachments to Import
- Click Ok
Name Documents

- A new window will appear that will let you name the documents. It has 3 tabs: General, Fields, and Tags.
- In the Fields tab you can add a student ID and document type. (**Make sure you put an ID number and that you fill in the document type. Otherwise, you may not be able to find the document in Laserfiche**)
- If you need to add a tag, you can do that on the Tags tab.
- Click OK to upload the document(s). (If you put an ID number on the document you will be able to find it under the corresponding student.)
Saving Entire Email to Laserfiche
Select Repository

- Once you click Save to Laserfiche it will ask you for a repository.
- Select OC
- Click OK
Authenticate

- Choose Windows Authentication
- Choose OK
Name Documents

- A new window will appear that will let you name the documents. It has 3 tabs: General, Fields, and Tags.

- If you need to add a tag, you can do that on the Tags tab.

- You have successfully configured Outlook and Laserfiche.
