Internet Bookmarks/Favorites

This page provides instructions for making and deleting internet bookmarks/favorites in the following browsers:

  • Safari
  • Internet Explorer
  • Google Chrome
  • Firefox
Safari

  1. Go to the page that you would like to bookmark.
  2. Click on the Bookmarks menu in the menu bar at the top of your screen.
  3. Select Add Bookmark...
  4. Choose a place to store the bookmark.
  5. Type in a name for the bookmark.
  6. Click Add

  1. Click on the Bookmarks button at the top-left corner of your browser.
  2. Find the bookmark you would like to delete and right-click on it to reveal a drop-down menu.
  3. Select Delete
Internet Explorer

  1. Go to the page that you would like to save as a favorite.
  2. Click on the star symbol at the top-right of your browser to open Favorites
  3. Select Add to Favorites
  4. Type in a name for the favorite.
  5. Choose a place to store the favorite.
  6. Click Add

  1. Click on the star symbol at the top-right of your browser to open Favorites
  2. Find the favorite you would like to delete and right-click it to reveal a drop-down menu.
  3. Select Delete

  1. Go to the page that you would like to bookmark.
  2. Click on the Bookmarks menu in the menu bar at the top of your screen.
  3. Select Bookmark This Page...
  4. Choose a place to store the bookmark.
  5. Type in a name for the bookmark.
  6. Click Add

  1. Click on the folder in which you saved the bookmark at the top of your browser.
  2. Find the bookmarked page that you want to delete and right-click on it to reveal a drop-down menu.
  3. Select Delete

  2. Click on the Bookmarks menu in the menu bar at the top of your screen.
  3. Select Bookmark This Page
  4. Choose a place to store the bookmark.
  5. Type in a name for the bookmark.
  6. Click Done

  1. Click on the bookmarks icon at the top of your browser.
  2. Find the bookmarked page that you want to delete and right-click on it to reveal a drop-down menu.
  3. Select Delete

You have successfully edited your bookmarks.
