Collaborate - Adding a Blackboard Collaborate link (a tool link) to the Main Menu in Blackboard

Add Menu Item

  1. Open your course in Blackboard
  2. In the left-hand main menu click the "circle with a plus inside."
  3. Select the Tool Link option.
  1. Give it the name: "Blackboard Collaborate."
  1. Give it the Name "Blackboard Collaborate"
  2. Select the Type Blackboard Collaborate Ultra from the drop down menu.
  3. Be sure to check the box to make the link Available to Users if you would like students to use the link to access sessions you have created.
  4. Click Submit.
