Firefox - Clearing the Cache Memory on Mac or PC

Clearing the Cache on a Mac

  1. Open your Firefox Browser and select the three horizontal bars in the upper right hand corner.
  2. Click on the History option (looks like a clock).
  3. In the History menu, select Clear Recent History....
  4. From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select Everything.
  5. Next to "Details", click the down arrow to choose and, select all items.
  6. Click Clear Now.
  7. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.

Clearing the Cache on PC

  1. Open your Firefox Browser and select the three horizontal bars in the upper right hand corner.
  2. Click Options (looks like a gear).
  1. On the left side of the window, click Privacy & Security.
  1. Scroll down until you see the section labeled Cookies and Site Data.
  2. Click the Clear Data button.
  1. Make sure only the box next to Cached Web Content is checked.
  2. Click Clear.
  3. Make sure to reload any websites that were already opened before you cleared the cache.
  4. Done!
