Opening an Incognito Window in Chrome
Description:
Sometimes referred to as Private Browsing, InPrivate Browsing, or Private Window, Incognito Window mode is an Internet browser setting that prevents browsing history from being stored. Normally, when you visit any web page, any text, pictures, and cookies required by the page are stored locally on your computer along with any searches or forms may be stored in autocomplete fields. Incognito Window mode loads without this previous data as well as forgets this data when you close the browser window, or doesn't store it at all.
Ingredients:
Computer with a working internet connection
Chrome internet browser
Directions:
Open Chrome Browser and select the three vertical dots in the upper right hand corner.
In the menu, select New Incognito Window
or use one of the shortcuts:
MAC = shift + cmd + N PC = shift + ctrl + N.
