Deploying a Test in Blackboard
- Go to the course in Bb containing the test you wish to deploy.
- Change Edit Mode in the top right hand corner of the screen to “ON”.
- Click on Exams in the menu.
- Hover your mouse over Assessments.
- Click on Test.
- You should find a table with a list of created tests that are not yet deployed.
- Click on the test you wish to deploy.
- Click “Submit” on the bottom right hand side of the screen.
- Scroll down to the section titled “Test Availability”.
- Right under the section bar you should see an option called “Make available to students”.
- Click on the “Yes” radio button (This will deploy the test).
- If you scroll down you’ll find more options for setting a timer, due date, and the level of feedback the student receives after completing the test.
- After you’ve made your preferred changes scroll down and click “Submit” on the bottom right hand side of the screen.
Enabling Lockdown Browser
- Under Course Management, go to Course Tools.
- Scroll down and click on Respondus Lockdown Browser.
- Find test/quiz you want to enable Lockdown Browser on.
- Click the box to the left of the name of the test.
- Select Settings.
- Click to require Lockdown Browser.
- If you would like a password type it in the box.
- When finished be sure to click Save & Close.
