Tests/Quizzes - Creating a Test on Blackboard with Questions from Existing Tests/Pools

Ingredients:

• A Blackboard (Bb) course shell

• Course with existing tests

Directions:

1. Go to the course in Bb where you want to create this test. 

2. Change “Edit Mode” in the top right hand corner of the screen to “ON”. 

3. Click on “Exams” in the menu. 

4. Hover your mouse over “Assessments” and click on “Test”. 

5. Click Create.

6. Give the test a Name.

7. Click Submit.

8. Hover your mouse over “Reuse Questions” and click on “Find Questions”. 

9. Select the test/pool you would like to get the questions from.
   (I would do these one at a time.)

10. Select the questions you want and click Submit.

11. Repeat Steps #8 - #10 as needed.

12.  Be sure to add point value to your questions either by the question item or at the top of the question set
    

13. When all questions are in the new test scroll to the bottom and click OK.
14. Then click Submit.
15. Now set the test options.
16. And now click Submit.
