Anchors are used to link to content or to text up or down on the same page. This answer has two parts:
Create an Anchor
Lock for Editing
On the left-hand side, click Lock for Editing.
Choose what Content to Edit
Click the Edit Content button of the contentlet you would like to have link to your document.
Insert/Edit Tag
- Click on the Insert menu drop-down
- Click Anchor
Enter Anchor Name
- Enter the anchor name. NOTE: The anchor name should only be one word and all lowercase.
- Click Ok
Link an Anchor to Text
Choose Text to Link To
- Highlight the text you want the anchor to link to
- Click the Hyperlink icon
Select Desired Anchor
- From the Anchors drop down menu, select the anchor you created.
- Click Ok
Anchor Information
- These boxes will be filled in automatically.
- Give a title to the anchor/link you created.
- Click Ok
Save Content
Click Save to save now and publish later or click Save / Publish to save and publish now.
NOTE: Save/Publish will make the content visible as soon as the page is published.
Release Lock
Click Release Lock to allow others to edit the web page.
Success!
You have successfully created an anchor on your webpage.
