Apple TVs

OC has Apple TVs located in various places throughout campus. With an Apple TV, you can:

  • "mirror" or display on the TV screen whatever is on the screen of your Mac/MacBook (OS X Mountain Lion or later), iPhone (4s or later), iPad (2 or later), iPad mini, or iPod touch (5th generation)
  • stream videos or slideshows from your device

Make sure that both the Apple TV and your MacBook are on the same OC wireless internet connection. (The Apple TVs on campus are already set up to be on the correct network. You will only need to make sure the Apple TV is on.)

Make sure that the TV monitor is set to the correct input (HDMI 1 or HDMI 2, depending on how that specific monitor was set up). You can use the remote to alter the TV's input.
