Connect to Lab Computers from Mac to Windows

In order to connect remotely, you'll need to be connected to OC via VPN.  You can find VPN setup and connection instructions at the following links:

From the Mac App Store, find the Microsoft Remote Desktop and download and install it.

1. Click the Plus button to add a new Desktop Connection.
2. Select Desktops.
3. Enter the hostname for the computer provided by your instructor.
4. If you'd like, you can add a friendly name.
5. Click Add.

From your list of saved desktops, click on the connection you just created.

1. In the Username field, type OC\ followed by your username.
2. Enter your password.
3. Press Continue.

Press Continue to verify the connection.

You are now ready to use the remote desktop.

1. Click the Start Menu.
2. Select the person icon.
3. Click Sign Out.
